As promised, I am doing a mock draft for the Cincinnati Bengals and reviewing their offseason so far. The Bengals haven’t done much this offseason. They added Orlando Brown to make another improvement on their still bad offensive line. That was big. But they lost safeties Jesse Bates and Von Bell, running back Samaje Perine, and tight end Hayden Hurst.
As I said in this podcast, I think the Bengals should get out ahead of the impending departures of Tee Higgins and Joe Mixon in 2023 and 2024 and draft a WR and RB this year. They did it with Jesse Bates, drafting Dax Hill last season while Bates was still on the roster.
My Bengals Mock Draft:
Dawond Jones, T, Ohio State
Nathaniel Dell, WR, Houston
DeWayne McBride, RB, UAB
Moro Ojomo, DT, Texas
Mekhi Blackmon, CB, USC
Will Mallory, TE, Miami
Brandon Hill, S, Pitt
