The ACC isn't a Power Football Conference, and Florida State Didn't Play a Tough Schedule
But Michigan is the weakest (and more corrupt) team in the playoffs, and the Big 10 might get humiliated by the SEC again.

Florida State was one of only four undefeated teams in the college football top 25. The others were Michigan, Washington, and Liberty. Michigan and Washington made the playoffs despite the fact that Michigan was caught stealing opponents’ signals in a manner that is not allowed. Liberty did not because they play in Conference USA, which is not a major conference, and they did not face a single top-25 team this season.
Florida State didn’t make the playoffs for approximately the same reason Liberty didn’t. The ACC at this point is not considered a major football conference. Clemson played in two straight college football national championships in 2018 and 2019, but they’ve lost three or more games in each of the past three seasons.
