Week 12 Notes and Betting Picks
It's Week 12! Fantasy managers give thanks (or curses) to Christian McCaffrey.
Hope you had a happy Thanksgiving! I know the Lions did. They got to continue their tradition of losing on Thanksgiving.
I’m not losing on Thanksgiving. I’m up 112.17 - 12.50 in my dynasty lead on the great play of Christian McCaffrey (41.65 fantasy points*), Jordan Love (34.37), and Cowboys CB DaRon Bland (23.00). (*CMC’s scoring in this league includes 6 points for six rushing first downs and 4.75 points for 19 rushing attempts.)
Unfortunately (for the fellow managers in the league), there’s no way of splitting those fantasy points and giving each manager a delicious TD drumstick. Well, I guess I’ll just have to have all the points to myself.
DaRon Bland is making a good case for Defensive Player of the Year, by the way. With his fifth interception returned for a touchdown today, he’s making Diontae Johnson’s fantasy managers ask if they can start Bland at WR.
Now for my Week 12 Betting Picks
I have the Broncos as very slight favorites over the Browns at home. A win still might not put the Broncos into the playoff picture, but it would put them right on the fringe.
